Bouncewear is a basketball specialist started in 2004. We unite the best brands such as Nike, Air Jordan, Adidas, Under Armour, Spalding, Stance and all other basket-related products under one roof.

Through passion and entrepreneurship, the first Bouncewear store was opened in 2004. A small 40 square meter store in the city of Leuven Belgium.

Fast forward to now, we are one of the leading shops in the European basketball landscape. With 6 stores in Belgium, 4 in France, 1 in Luxembourg, 1 in Spain and 1 in the UK + more in the future, we expanded our love for the game over all of Europe and are happy to serve the basketball customer with our product and service.

Assistant Shop Manager

Bouncewear Paris, France

We are looking for a full-time assistant shopmanager for our store in Paris.

The core responsibilities are:

  • Serve as the shop manager's right hand.
  • Ensuring the store achieves monthly and quarterly targets together with the shop manager
  • Providing ongoing feedback and coaching on product knowledge, selling skills and visual merchandising.
  • Ensuring that the in store VM is up to date and executed according to guidelines provided.
  • Stock Management.

Requirements for the job position:

A big plus for a basketball background and knowledge of the game and the local basketball community

  • Relevant retail management experience.
  • The ability to work to fixed targets and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge about basketball products
  • Knowledge of the local basketball market.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good Knowledge of English is required, French is a plus.
  • Lives within reasonable traveling distance of the store.
